ART BRUT : ALAYE KENE ATÔ (Fr, En) Alaye Antemelou Kene Teme, dit Alaye Kene Atô, ou parfois seulement Alaye Atô, est un dessinateur malien dogon né vers 1967. En 1987, il est amputé de sa main gauche par l’explosion de son fusil lors d’une cérémonie funéraire. Il se met alors à dessiner au feutre. Ses dessins, systématiquement au feutre et sur des feuilles de format A4, portent l’empreinte de la violence de son accident et de l’animisme dogon. Il est le chef de village de Yendouma Atô, dont il a pris le pseudonyme. Alaye Antemelou Kene Teme, known as Alaye Kene Atô, or sometimes only Alaye Atô, is a Malian draftsman Dogon born about 1967. In 1987, he is amputated with his left hand by the explosion of his gun during a funeral ceremony. He then began to draw with felt. His drawings, systematically with the felt and on sheets of format A4, bear the imprint of the violence of its accident and Dogon animism. He is the village chief of Yendouma Atô, of whom he took the pseudonym.
