Currently, Neptune is working on a 3-Part Experimental Multi¬Media Series, Eye of The Storm (EOTS). It uses exhibition space and social media as a platform to facilitate discussions, workshops and forums on mental health in communities of color. Untitled #70, a precursor to the project, premiered at the Maysles Documentary Cinema in Harlem and Rutgers University’s Institute for Women and Art, Online Film Festival. Untitled #70, a multi¬-media performance piece, uses video and image projections to illustrate how our social constructs cultivate one’s understanding of self. Through the use of technology, Neptune investigates whether the “self” can survive independently without such precepts?
