Born in 1986 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, in a large family. Already when he was young he shows interest in drawing. Later he learns about painting in the streets of the capital. After a few years at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa, he manages to combine drawing and painting, and he found his means of expression.
Immigrated to Quebec in 2009, he continued his studies in art and design at the University of Quebec in Montreal.
He often portrays people in an lively, expressionistic, colorful way.

“Multiplicity and repetition are characteristic for my work. I like to surprise myself, so I paint with big gestures. Stains, drippings etc. are the result of it. These ‘mistakes’ are part of my artworks. I use several different techniques and materials such as oil paint, acrylic, recycling materials and other mediums that are not conventional. “
